حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ حَدَّثَنَا بُرَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ بَلَغَنَا مَخْرَجُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَحْنُ بِالْيَمَنِ فَخَرَجْنَا مُهَاجِرِينَ إِلَيْهِ أَنَا وَأَخَوَانِ لِي أَنَا أَصْغَرُهُمْ أَحَدُهُمَا أَبُو بُرْدَةَ وَالْآخَرُ أَبُو رُهْمٍ إِمَّا قَالَ بِضْعٌ وَإِمَّا قَالَ فِي ثَلَاثَةٍ وَخَمْسِينَ أَوْ اثْنَيْنِ وَخَمْسِينَ رَجُلًا مِنْ قَوْمِي فَرَكِبْنَا سَفِينَةً فَأَلْقَتْنَا سَفِينَتُنَا إِلَى النَّجَاشِيِّ بِالْحَبَشَةِ فَوَافَقْنَا جَعْفَرَ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ فَأَقَمْنَا مَعَهُ حَتَّى قَدِمْنَا جَمِيعًا فَوَافَقْنَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ افْتَتَحَ خَيْبَرَ وَكَانَ أُنَاسٌ مِنْ النَّاسِ يَقُولُونَ لَنَا يَعْنِي لِأَهْلِ السَّفِينَةِ سَبَقْنَاكُمْ بِالْهِجْرَةِ وَدَخَلَتْ أَسْمَاءُ بِنْتُ عُمَيْسٍ وَهِيَ مِمَّنْ قَدِمَ مَعَنَا عَلَى حَفْصَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ زَائِرَةً وَقَدْ كَانَتْ هَاجَرَتْ إِلَى النَّجَاشِيِّ فِيمَنْ هَاجَرَ فَدَخَلَ عُمَرُ عَلَى حَفْصَةَ وَأَسْمَاءُ عِنْدَهَا فَقَالَ عُمَرُ حِينَ رَأَى أَسْمَاءَ مَنْ هَذِهِ قَالَتْ أَسْمَاءُ بِنْتُ عُمَيْسٍ قَالَ عُمَرُ الْحَبَشِيَّةُ هَذِهِ الْبَحْرِيَّةُ هَذِهِ قَالَتْ أَسْمَاءُ نَعَمْ قَالَ سَبَقْنَاكُمْ بِالْهِجْرَةِ فَنَحْنُ أَحَقُّ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْكُمْ فَغَضِبَتْ وَقَالَتْ كَلَّا وَاللَّهِ كُنْتُمْ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُطْعِمُ جَائِعَكُمْ وَيَعِظُ جَاهِلَكُمْ وَكُنَّا فِي دَارِ أَوْ فِي أَرْضِ الْبُعَدَاءِ الْبُغَضَاءِ بِالْحَبَشَةِ وَذَلِكَ فِي اللَّهِ وَفِي رَسُولِهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَايْمُ اللَّهِ لَا أَطْعَمُ طَعَامًا وَلَا أَشْرَبُ شَرَابًا حَتَّى أَذْكُرَ مَا قُلْتَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَحْنُ كُنَّا نُؤْذَى وَنُخَافُ وَسَأَذْكُرُ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَسْأَلُهُ وَاللَّهِ لَا أَكْذِبُ وَلَا أَزِيغُ وَلَا أَزِيدُ عَلَيْهِ فَلَمَّا جَاءَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ إِنَّ عُمَرَ قَالَ كَذَا وَكَذَا قَالَ فَمَا قُلْتِ لَهُ قَالَتْ قُلْتُ لَهُ كَذَا وَكَذَا قَالَ لَيْسَ بِأَحَقَّ بِي مِنْكُمْ وَلَهُ وَلِأَصْحَابِهِ هِجْرَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ وَلَكُمْ أَنْتُمْ أَهْلَ السَّفِينَةِ هِجْرَتَانِ قَالَتْ فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ أَبَا مُوسَى وَأَصْحَابَ السَّفِينَةِ يَأْتُونِي أَرْسَالًا يَسْأَلُونِي عَنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ مَا مِنْ الدُّنْيَا شَيْءٌ هُمْ بِهِ أَفْرَحُ وَلَا أَعْظَمُ فِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ مِمَّا قَالَ لَهُمْ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَبُو بُرْدَةَ قَالَتْ أَسْمَاءُ فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ أَبَا مُوسَى وَإِنَّهُ لَيَسْتَعِيدُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ مِنِّي
Telah menceritakan kepadaku [Muhammad bin Al 'Ala']; Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Usamah]; Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Buraid bin Abdullah] dari [Abu Burdah] dari [Abu Musa] radliallahu 'anhu katanya; Berita keberangkatan hijrah Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam ke Madinah sampai kepada kami ketika kami di Yaman, maka kami berangkat hijrah untuk menemuinya bersama dua saudaraku, aku yang termuda. Satunya Abu Burdah dan satunya Abu ruhm. -Kata Abu Burdah; sepertinya Abu Musa mengatakan dengan sekitar sepuluh, atau lima puluh tiga, atau lima puluh dua orang kaumku- kami menumpang perahu, selanjutnya perahu mendamparkan kami ke raja Najasyi di Ethiopia, di sana kami bertemu dengan Ja'far bin Abu Thalib dan tinggal bersamanya hingga kami bisa bersama-sama berangkat ke Madinah. Kami bertemu Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bertepatan beliau menaklukkan Khaibar. Selanjutnya sebagian orang yang bersama Nabi berujar kepada kami -maksudnya para penumpang perahu- "Kami lebih istimewa daripada kalian karena hijrah", kemudian Asma' binti 'Umais, -dia diantara yang datang bersama kami, penumpang perahu- menemui Hafshah isteri Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, kebetulan dia turut hijrah ke Najasyi bersama rombongan perahu. Umar lantas menemui Hafshah yang ketika itu Asma' disisinya. Ketika Umar melihat Asma', Umar bertanya; "Siapa ini?" 'Aku Asma' binti Umais! ' Jawab Asma'. Kata 'Umar; 'kamu turut bersama muhajirin yang menumpang perahu, atau melayari lautan itu? ', 'Benar' Jawab Asma'. Umar mengatakan; 'Kami lebih istimewa daripada kalian karena telah hijrah, dan kami lebih berhak terhadap Rasulullah daripada kalian-kalian! '. Mendengar ungkapan ini, Asma' bin Umais langsung emosi dan berujar; 'Tidak, demi Allah, bahkan kebersamaan kalian dengan Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, sehingga beliau bisa memberi makan yang lapar dan memberi nasehat yang jahil, sementara kami di sebuah negeri atau di bumi yang jauh dan gersang di Ethiopia, dan itu kesemuanya semata-mata karena Allah dan Rasul-Nya, dan demi Allah, kami tidak bisa memberi makan yang lapar, tidak pula bisa memberi minum yang kehausan sehingga akan kulaporkan ucapanmu kepada Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, kami juga disakiti dan diteror, dan semuanya itu akan kulaporkan kepada Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam. Demi Allah, saya akan bertanya kepada beliau, saya tidak akan berdusta, tidak akan meninggalkan kebenaran, dan tidak akan menambah-nambahi! ' Ketika Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam datang, Asma' binti Umais menyampaikan uneg-unegnya; 'Wahai Nabiyullah, Umar mengatakan demikian-demikian -Ia laporkan ucapan Umar yang mengatakan dia dan rombongannya lebih istimewa-. Nabi bertanya: 'Lantas bagaimana kamu menjawab? 'Asma' menjawab; 'Ya tadi kujawab demikian-demikian" -ia utarakan semua jawabannya- Nabi lantas bersabda: 'Dia, Umar, tidak lebih berhak terhadapku daripada kalian, dia dan para sahabatnya hanya mempunyai satu hijrah, sementara kalian para penumpang perahu mempunyai dua hijrah.' Kata Asma' binti Umais; 'Setelah itu kulihat Abu Musa dan para penumpang perahu menemuiku secara susul-menyusul menanyaiku hadits ini. Sehingga tak ada sesuatupun dari harta duniawi bisa lebih menggembirakan mereka, tidak pula lebih mereka agungkan daripada ucapan Rasulullah kepada mereka ini.' Abu Burdah berkata, Asma' berkata; 'Kulihat Abu musa berulangkali meminta pengulangan hadits ini kepadaku.' (HR. Bukhari: 3905)
Narrated Abu Musa: The news of the migration of the Prophet (ﷺ) (from Mecca to Medina) reached us while we were in Yemen. So we set out as emigrants towards him. We were (three) I and my two brothers. I was the youngest of them, and one of the two was Abu Burda, and the other, Abu Ruhm, and our total number was either 53 or 52 men from my people. We got on board a boat and our boat took us to Negus in Ethiopia. There we met Jaʿfar bin Abi Talib and stayed with him. Then we all came (to Medina) and met the Prophet (ﷺ) at the time of the conquest of Khaibar. Some of the people used to say to us, namely the people of the ship, "We have migrated before you." Asmaʾ bint 'Umais who was one of those who had come with us, came as a visitor to Hafsa, the wife the Prophet (ﷺ) . She had migrated along with those other Muslims who migrated to Negus. ʿUmar came to Hafsa while Asmaʾ bint 'Umais was with her. ʿUmar, on seeing Asma,' said, "Who is this?" She said, "Asmaʾ bint 'Umais," ʿUmar said, "Is she the Ethiopian? Is she the sea-faring lady?" Asmaʾ replied, "Yes." ʿUmar said, "We have migrated before you (people of the boat), so we have got more right than you over Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) " On that Asmaʾ became angry and said, "No, by Allah, while you were with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) who was feeding the hungry ones amongst you, and advised the ignorant ones amongst you, we were in the far-off hated land of Ethiopia, and all that was for the sake of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) . By Allah, I will neither eat any food nor drink anything till I inform Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) of all that you have said. There we were harmed and frightened. I will mention this to the Prophet (ﷺ) and will not tell a lie or curtail your saying or add something to it." So when the Prophet (ﷺ) came, she said, "O Allah's Prophet ʿUmar has said so-and-so." He said (to Asmaʾ), "What did you say to him?" Asmaʾs aid, "I told him so-and-so." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "He (i.e. ʿUmar) has not got more right than you people over me, as he and his companions have (the reward of) only one migration, and you, the people of the boat, have (the reward of) two migrations." Asmaʾ later on said, "I saw Abu Musa and the other people of the boat coming to me in successive groups, asking me about this narration,, and to them nothing in the world was more cheerful and greater than what the Prophet (ﷺ) had said about them." Narrated Abu Burda: Asmaʾ said, "I saw Abu Musa requesting me to repeat this narration again and again." (Bukhari: 3905)
