حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَابِسٍ قَالَ سُئِلَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ أَشَهِدْتَ الْعِيدَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَلَوْلَا مَنْزِلَتِي مِنْهُ مَا شَهِدْتُهُ مِنْ الصِّغَرِ فَأَتَى الْعَلَمَ الَّذِي عِنْدَ دَارِ كَثِيرِ بْنِ الصَّلْتِ فَصَلَّى ثُمَّ خَطَبَ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ أَذَانًا وَلَا إِقَامَةً ثُمَّ أَمَرَ بِالصَّدَقَةِ فَجَعَلَ النِّسَاءُ يُشِرْنَ إِلَى آذَانِهِنَّ وَحُلُوقِهِنَّ فَأَمَرَ بِلَالًا فَأَتَاهُنَّ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Katsir] telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Sufyan] dari [Abdurrahman bin Abbas] berkata, " [Ibn Abbas] pernah ditanya 'Apakah engkau pernah menghadiri shalat 'ied bersama Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam? ' ia menjawab, 'Benar, kalaulah bukan karena kedudukanku di sisi beliau, sungguh aku tak mungkin bisa menghadirinya semenjak kecil. Beliau mendatangi 'alam (tanda batas shalat) di perkampungan Katsir bin Shalt, kemudian beliau shalat, lalu berkhutbah." -Ibnu Abbas tidak menyebut-nyebut adzan dan tidak pula iqamat- Kemudian beliau perintahkan untuk bersedekah, sehingga para wanita melepaskan anting-anting yang berada di telinga mereka dan kalung yang berada di leher mereka, sementara Bilal mendatangi mereka untuk mengambil barang-barang itu, kemudian ia kembali menemui nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam." (HR. Bukhari: 6780)
Narrated ʿAbdur-Rahman bin ʿAbis: Ibn ʿAbbas was asked, "Did you offer the Id prayer with the Prophet (ﷺ)?" He said, "Yes, had it not been for my close relation to the Prophet (ﷺ), I would not have performed it (with him) because of my being too young the Prophet (ﷺ) came to the mark which is near the home of Kathir bin As-Salt and offered the Id prayer and then delivered the sermon. I do not remember if any Adhan or Iqama were pronounced for the prayer. Then the Prophet (ﷺ) ordered (the women) to give alms, and they started stretching out their hands towards their ears and throats (giving their ornaments in charity), and the Prophet (ﷺ) ordered Bilal to go to them (to collect the alms), and then Bilal returned to the Prophet (ﷺ) (Bukhari: 6780)
