حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ عَنْ زَكَرِيَّاءَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ صَيْفِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِي مَعْبَدٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ مُعَاذًا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ إِلَى الْيَمَنِ فَقَالَ ادْعُهُمْ إِلَى شَهَادَةِ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فَإِنْ هُمْ أَطَاعُوا لِذَلِكَ فَأَعْلِمْهُمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ افْتَرَضَ عَلَيْهِمْ خَمْسَ صَلَوَاتٍ فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ فَإِنْ هُمْ أَطَاعُوا لِذَلِكَ فَأَعْلِمْهُمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ افْتَرَضَ عَلَيْهِمْ صَدَقَةً فِي أَمْوَالِهِمْ تُؤْخَذُ مِنْ أَغْنِيَائِهِمْ وَتُرَدُّ عَلَى فُقَرَائِهِمْ
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu 'Ashim Adh-Dlohhak bin Makhlad] dari [Zakariya' bin Ishaq] dari [Yahya bin 'Abdullah bin Shayfiy] dari [Abu Ma'bad] dari [Ibnu 'Abbas radliallahu 'anhuma] bahwa ketika Nabi Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam mengutus Mu'adz radliallahu 'anhu ke negeri Yaman, Beliau berkata,: "Ajaklah mereka kepada syahadah (persaksian) tidak ada ilah yang berhak disembah kecuali Allah dan bahwa aku adalah utusan Allah. Jika mereka telah mentaatinya, maka beritahukanlah bahwa Allah mewajibkan atas mereka shalat lima waktu sehari semalam. Dan jika mereka telah mena'atinya, maka beritahukanlah bahwa Allah telah mewajibkan atas mereka shadaqah (zakat) dari harta mereka yang diambil dari orang-orang kaya mereka dan diberikan kepada orang-orang faqir mereka". (HR. Bukhari: 1308)
Narrated Ibn ʿAbbas: The Prophet sent Muʿadh to Yemen and said, "Invite the people to testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and I am Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), and if they obey you to do so, then teach them that Allah has enjoined on them five prayers in every day and night (in twenty-four hours), and if they obey you to do so, then teach them that Allah has made it obligatory for them to pay the Zakat from their property and it is to be taken from the wealthy among them and given to the poor." (Bukhari: 1308)
