قَالَ أَبُو بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنِّي لَأَعْرِفُ أَصْوَاتَ رُفْقَةِ الْأَشْعَرِيِّينَ بِالْقُرْآنِ حِينَ يَدْخُلُونَ بِاللَّيْلِ وَأَعْرِفُ مَنَازِلَهُمْ مِنْ أَصْوَاتِهِمْ بِالْقُرْآنِ بِاللَّيْلِ وَإِنْ كُنْتُ لَمْ أَرَ مَنَازِلَهُمْ حِينَ نَزَلُوا بِالنَّهَارِ وَمِنْهُمْ حَكِيمٌ إِذَا لَقِيَ الْخَيْلَ أَوْ قَالَ الْعَدُوَّ قَالَ لَهُمْ إِنَّ أَصْحَابِي يَأْمُرُونَكُمْ أَنْ تَنْظُرُوهُمْ
(Masih dari jalur periwayatan yang sama dengan hadits sebelumnya), [Abu burdah] berkata; dari [Abu Musa] Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Sungguh aku mendengar suara kelembutan orang-orang Asy'ari dengan bacaan Al Qurannya ketika mereka memasuki malam hari, dan aku mengetahui rumah-rumah mereka karena kemerduan suara mereka dengan alquran di malam hari, sekalipun aku tidak pernah melihat rumah-rumah mereka ketika siang. Diantara mereka ada yang sangat cekatan jika menemui kuda perang atau musuh." Nabi katakan kepada mereka: 'Sahabat-sahabatku menyuruh kalian agar kalian melihat mereka.' (HR. Bukhari: 3906)
Narrated Abu Burda: Abu Musa said, "The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I recognize the voice of the group of Al-Ashʿariyun, when they recite the Qurʾan, when they enter their homes at night, and I recognize their houses by (listening) to their voices when they are reciting the Qurʾan at night although I have not seen their houses when they came to them during the day time. Amongst them is Hakim who, on meeting the cavalry or the enemy, used to say to them (i.e. the enemy). My companions order you to wait for them.' " (Bukhari: 3906)
