حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَا مِنْ نَبِيٍّ يَمْرَضُ إِلَّا خُيِّرَ بَيْنَ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَكَانَ فِي شَكْوَاهُ الَّذِي قُبِضَ فِيهِ أَخَذَتْهُ بُحَّةٌ شَدِيدَةٌ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ { مَعَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصَّالِحِينَ } فَعَلِمْتُ أَنَّهُ خُيِّرَ
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin 'Abdullah bin Hausyab] Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ibrahim bin Sa'ad] dari [Bapaknya] dari ['Urwah] dari ['Aisyah radliallahu 'anha] ia berkata; Aku mendengar Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Tidaklah seorang nabi sakit kecuali akan diberi pilihan antara dunia dan akhirat." Aisyah berkata; Dan Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam ketika sakit yang menyebabkan kematiannya, aku mendengar beliau menuturkan dengan terputus-putus, beliau bersabda: "Bersama orang-orang yang telah Allah beri nikmat kepada mereka, baik dari para nabi, orang-orang yang jujur, orang-orang yang mati syahid, dan orang-orang yang shalih dan mereka itulah sebaik-baik teman." Maka aku tahu bahwa waktu itu beliau sedang diberi pilihan. (HR. Bukhari: 4220)
Narrated ʿAisha: I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "No prophet gets sick but he is given the choice to select either this world or the Hereafter." ʿAisha added: During his fatal illness, his voice became very husky and I heard him saying: "In the company of those whom is the Grace of Allah, of the prophets, the Siddiqin (those followers of the prophets who were first and foremost to believe in them), the martyrs and the pious.' (4.69) And from this I came to know that he has been given the option. (Bukhari: 4220)
