قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَبْلُغُ الْمَسَاكِنُ إِهَابَ أَوْ يَهَابَ قَالَ زُهَيْرٌ قُلْتُ لِسُهَيْلٍ فَكَمْ ذَلِكَ مِنْ الْمَدِينَةِ قَالَ كَذَا وَكَذَا مِيلًا
(The Last Hour would not come) until the habitations of Medina would extend to Ihab or Yahab. Zubair said: I said to Suhail how far these were from Medina. He said: So and so miles.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَيْسَتْ السَّنَةُ بِأَنْ لَا تُمْطَرُوا وَلَكِنْ السَّنَةُ أَنْ تُمْطَرُوا وَتُمْطَرُوا وَلَا تُنْبِتُ الْأَرْضُ شَيْئًا
The famine would not break otit because of drought, but there would be famine despite heavy rainfall as nothing would grow from the earth.
