حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَقَ الْمُسَيَّبِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَنَسٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عِيَاضٍ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَقْبَلَ فُرْضَتَيْ الْجَبَلِ الَّذِي بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْجَبَلِ الطَّوِيلِ نَحْوَ الْكَعْبَةِ يَجْعَلُ الْمَسْجِدَ الَّذِي بُنِيَ ثَمَّ يَسَارَ الْمَسْجِدِ الَّذِي بِطَرَفِ الْأَكَمَةِ وَمُصَلَّى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَسْفَلَ مِنْهُ عَلَى الْأَكَمَةِ السَّوْدَاءِ يَدَعُ مِنْ الْأَكَمَةِ عَشْرَةَ أَذْرُعٍ أَوْ نَحْوَهَا ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْفُرْضَتَيْنِ مِنْ الْجَبَلِ الطَّوِيلِ الَّذِي بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَ الْكَعْبَةِ
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Ishaq Al Musabbi] telah menceritakan kepadaku [Anas bin Iyadl] dari [Musa bin Uqbah] dari [Nafi'] bahwa [Abdullah] telah mengabarkan kepadanya, bahwasanya; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam menghadap ke arah dua jalan yang menuju ke bukit, antara beliau dan Jabal Thawil tepat menghadap ke arah Ka'bah. Kemudian masjid yang dibangun kemudian berada di sebelah kiri Masjid yang berada di ujung bukit yang ditutupi tanah. Dan tempat Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam shalat berada di bawah sedikit, di sebuah bukit kecil yang berwarna hitam. Jarak dari bukit itu sekitar sepuluh hasta. Kemudian beliau shalat dengan menghadap ke arah dua jalan dari Jabal Thawil, yakni tepat antara termpat kamu berdiri dan Ka'bah. (HR. Muslim: 2209)
Nafi' reported that Abdullah (b. 'Umar) informed him that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) turned his face to the two hillocks which intervened between him and the long mountain by the side of the Ka'ba, and the mosque which had been built there was thus on the left of the hillock. Allah's Messenger's (may peace be upon him) place of prayer was lower than the black hillock, at a distance of ten cubits or near it. He (may peace be upon him) would then observe prayer facing these two hillocks of the long mountain that is intervening between you and the Ka'ba. (Muslim: 2209)
