و حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ { وَأَنْذِرْ عَشِيرَتَكَ الْأَقْرَبِينَ } وَرَهْطَكَ مِنْهُمْ الْمُخْلَصِينَ خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى صَعِدَ الصَّفَا فَهَتَفَ يَا صَبَاحَاهْ فَقَالُوا مَنْ هَذَا الَّذِي يَهْتِفُ قَالُوا مُحَمَّدٌ فَاجْتَمَعُوا إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ يَا بَنِي فُلَانٍ يَا بَنِي فُلَانٍ يَا بَنِي فُلَانٍ يَا بَنِي عَبْدِ مَنَافٍ يَا بَنِي عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ فَاجْتَمَعُوا إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ أَرَأَيْتَكُمْ لَوْ أَخْبَرْتُكُمْ أَنَّ خَيْلًا تَخْرُجُ بِسَفْحِ هَذَا الْجَبَلِ أَكُنْتُمْ مُصَدِّقِيَّ قَالُوا مَا جَرَّبْنَا عَلَيْكَ كَذِبًا قَالَ فَإِنِّي نَذِيرٌ لَكُمْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ عَذَابٍ شَدِيدٍ قَالَ فَقَالَ أَبُو لَهَبٍ تَبًّا لَكَ أَمَا جَمَعْتَنَا إِلَّا لِهَذَا ثُمَّ قَامَ فَنَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ السُّورَةُ تَبَّتْ يَدَا أَبِي لَهَبٍ وَقَدْ تَبَّ كَذَا قَرَأَ الْأَعْمَشُ إِلَى آخِرِ السُّورَةِ و حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ قَالَ صَعِدَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ الصَّفَا فَقَالَ يَا صَبَاحَاهْ بِنَحْوِ حَدِيثِ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ نُزُولَ الْآيَةِ { وَأَنْذِرْ عَشِيرَتَكَ الْأَقْرَبِينَ }
Dan telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Kuraib Muhammad bin al-'Ala] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Usamah] dari [al-A'masy] dari [Amru bin Murrah] dari [Sa'id bin Jubair] dari [Ibnu Abbas] dia berkata, ‘Tatkala turun ayat: '(Berilah peringatan kepada kaum kerabatmu yang terdekat yaitu kaum kerabatmu yang benar-benar ikhlas) ' (Qs. Asy Syu'ara`: 214). Maka Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam keluar menaiki Bukit Soffa lalu berteriak: 'Wahai saudara-saudara'. Sebagian mereka tertanya siapakah yang berteriak. Sebagian mereka menjawab; ‘Muhammad'. Ketika mereka berkumpul, beliau bersabda: "Wahai bani fulan! bani fulan! bani fulan! Wahai bani Abdul Manaf! Wahai bani Abdul Muththalib!' Tatkala mereka telah menghampiri beliau, beliau bersabda: "Apakah pendapat kalian apabila aku mengabarkan bahwa sekelompok pasukan berkuda akan keluar melalui kaki bukit ini untuk menyerang kalian. Apakah kalian akan mempercayaiku?' Mereka menjawab; ‘Kami tidak pernah mendapatimu berdusta'. Beliau bersabda lagi: 'Sesungguhnya aku adalah seorang pemberi peringatan kepada kalian tentang azab yang pedih'." Maka Abu Lahab pun mencela, 'Celaka kamu! Apakah hanya karena ini kamu mengumpulkan kami.' setelah dia berlalu, turunlah surat: '(Binasalah kedua tangan Abu Lahab, dan sesungguhnya dia akan celaka) ' Demikianlah al A'masy membaca hingga akhir surat." Dan telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakar bin Abu Syaibah] dan [Abu Kuraib] dia berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Muawiyah] dari [al-A'masy] dengan sanad ini. Dia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam naik ke atas Shafa pada suatu hari seraya berkata, 'Wahai sahabat-sahabatku', sebagaimana hadits Abu Usamah, dan dia tidak menyebutkan turunya ayat, '(Berilah peringatan kepada kaum kerabatmu yang terdekat)." It is reported on the authority of Ibn 'Abbas that when this verse was revealed:" And warn thy nearest kindred" (and thy group of selected people among them) the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) set off till he climbed Safa' and called loudly: Be on your guard! They said: Who is it calling aloud? They said: Muhammad. They gathered round him, and he said: O sons of so and so, O sons of so and so, O sons of 'Abd Manaf, O sons of 'Abd al-Muttalib, and they gathered around him. He (the Apostle) said: If I were to inform you that there were horsemen emerging out of the foot of this mountain, would you believe me? They said: We have not experienced any lie from you. He said: Well, I am a warner to you before a severe torment. He (the narrator) said that Abu Lahab then said: Destruction to you! Is it for this you have gathered us? He (the Holy Prophet) then stood up, and this verse was revealed:" Perish the hands of Abu Lahab, and he indeed perished" (cxi. 1). A'mash recited this to the end of the Sura. This hadith was narrated by A'mash on the authority of the same chain of narrators and he said: One day the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) climbed the hill of Safa' and said: Be on your guard, and the rest of the hadith was narrated like the hadith transmitted by Usama; he made no mention of the revelation of the verse:" Warn thy nearest kindred."
