حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الْعَتَكِيُّ وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ وَاللَّفْظُ لِقُتَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ أَيَّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ زَوَى لِي الْأَرْضَ فَرَأَيْتُ مَشَارِقَهَا وَمَغَارِبَهَا وَإِنَّ أُمَّتِي سَيَبْلُغُ مُلْكُهَا مَا زُوِيَ لِي مِنْهَا وَأُعْطِيتُ الْكَنْزَيْنِ الْأَحْمَرَ وَالْأَبْيَضَ وَإِنِّي سَأَلْتُ رَبِّي لِأُمَّتِي أَنْ لَا يُهْلِكَهَا بِسَنَةٍ عَامَّةٍ وَأَنْ لَا يُسَلِّطَ عَلَيْهِمْ عَدُوًّا مِنْ سِوَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ فَيَسْتَبِيحَ بَيْضَتَهُمْ وَإِنَّ رَبِّي قَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ إِنِّي إِذَا قَضَيْتُ قَضَاءً فَإِنَّهُ لَا يُرَدُّ وَإِنِّي أَعْطَيْتُكَ لِأُمَّتِكَ أَنْ لَا أُهْلِكَهُمْ بِسَنَةٍ عَامَّةٍ وَأَنْ لَا أُسَلِّطَ عَلَيْهِمْ عَدُوًّا مِنْ سِوَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ يَسْتَبِيحُ بَيْضَتَهُمْ وَلَوْ اجْتَمَعَ عَلَيْهِمْ مَنْ بِأَقْطَارِهَا أَوْ قَالَ مَنْ بَيْنَ أَقْطَارِهَا حَتَّى يَكُونَ بَعْضُهُمْ يُهْلِكُ بَعْضًا وَيَسْبِي بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا و حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَإِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى وَابْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ إِسْحَقُ أَخْبَرَنَا و قَالَ الْآخَرُونَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ الرَّحَبِيِّ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى زَوَى لِي الْأَرْضَ حَتَّى رَأَيْتُ مَشَارِقَهَا وَمَغَارِبَهَا وَأَعْطَانِي الْكَنْزَيْنِ الْأَحْمَرَ وَالْأَبْيَضَ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Ar Rabi' Al Ataki] dan [Qutaibah bin Sa'id], keduanya dari [Hammad bin Zaid] dan teksnya milik Qutaibah, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hammad] dari [Ayub] dari [Abu Qilabah] dari [Abu Asma`] dari [Tsauban] berkata: Rasulullah Shallallahu 'alaihi wa Salam bersabda: "Sesungguhnya Allah menghimpun bumi untukku lalu aku melihat timur dan baratnya dan sesungguhnya kekuasaan ummatku akan mencapai yang dihimpunkan untukku, aku diberi dua harta simpanan; merah dan putih, dan sesungguhnya aku meminta Rabbku untuk ummatku agar tidak dibinasakan oleh kekeringan menyeluruh, agar Ia tidak memberi kuasa musuh untuk menguasai mereka selain diri mereka sendiri lalu menyerang perkumpulan mereka, dan sesungguhnya Rabbku berfirman: 'Hai Muhammad, sesungguhnya Aku bila menentukan takdir tidak bisa dirubah, sesungguhnya Aku memberikan untuk umatmu agar tidak dibinasakan oleh kekeringan menyeluruh, Aku tidak memberi kuasa musuh untuk menyerang mereka selain diri mereka sendiri lalu mereka menyerang perkumpulan mereka meski mereka dikepung dari segala penjurunya hingga sebagaian dari mereka membinasakan sebagaian lainnya dan saling menawan satu sama lain." Telah menceritakan kepadaku [Zuhair bin Harb], [Ishaq bin Ibrahim], [Muhammad bin Al Mutsanna] dan [Ibnu Basyar], berkata Ishaq: Telah mengkhabarkan kepada kami, sedangkan yang lain berkata: telah menceritakan kepada kami [Mu'adz bin Hiysam] telah menceritakan kepadaku [ayahku] dari [Qatadah] dari [Abu Qilabah] dari [Abu Asma` Ar Rahabi] dari [Tsauban] bahwa nabi Allah Shallallahu 'alaihi wa Salam bersabda: "Sesungguhnya Allah menghimpun bumi untukku hingga aku melihat timur dan baratnya, dan Ia memberiku dua harta simpanan; merah dan putih." Selanjutnya ia menyebut seperti hadits Ayyub dari Abu Qilabah. (HR. Muslim: 5144)
Thauban reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Allah drew the ends of the world near one another for my sake. And I have seen its eastern and western ends. And the dominion of my Unimah would reach those ends which have been drawn near me and I have been granted the red and the white trea- sure and I begged my Lord for my Ummah that it should not be destroyed because of famine, nor be dominated by an enemy who is not amongst them to take their lives and destroy them root and branch, and my Lord said: Muhammad, whenever I make a decision, there is none to change it. Well, I grant you for your Ummah that it would not be destroyed by famine and it would not be dominated by an enemy who would not be amongst it and would take their lives and destroy them root and branch even if all the people from the different parts of the world join hands together (for this purpose), but it would be from amongst them, viz. your Ummah, that some people would kill the others or imprison the others. Thauban reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said. Verily, Allah drew the ends of the world near me until I saw its cast and west an He bestowed upon me two treasures, the red and the white. The rest of the hadith is the same. (Muslim: 5144)
