حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ رَاكِبٌ عَلَى بَقَرَةٍ الْتَفَتَتْ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَتْ لَمْ أُخْلَقْ لِهَذَا خُلِقْتُ لِلْحِرَاثَةِ قَالَ آمَنْتُ بِهِ أَنَا وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَأَخَذَ الذِّئْبُ شَاةً فَتَبِعَهَا الرَّاعِي فَقَالَ لَهُ الذِّئْبُ مَنْ لَهَا يَوْمَ السَّبُعِ يَوْمَ لَا رَاعِيَ لَهَا غَيْرِي قَالَ آمَنْتُ بِهِ أَنَا وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ قَالَ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ وَمَا هُمَا يَوْمَئِذٍ فِي الْقَوْمِ
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Basysyar] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ghundar] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Syu'bah] dari [Saad bin Ibrahim] berkata; Aku mendengar [Abu Salamah] dari [Abu Hurairah radliallahu 'anhu] dari Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "(Nanti pada hari qiyamat) orang yang menunggang sapi betina akan diremukkan oleh sapi tersebut seraya berkata; Aku diciptakan bukan untuk ini, tapi aku diciptakan untuk membawajak ". Beliau shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda; "Aku beriman tentang kejadian itu, begitu juga Abu Bakar dan 'Umar". Dan akan ada pula seekor serigala yang memakan kambing lalu pengembalanya mengikutinya. Maka serigala berkata kepada penggembala itu: "Siapa yang mengawasi kambing itu pada hari berburu ini yang tidak ada yang menjaganya kecuali aku?" Beliau bersabda: "Aku beriman tentang kejadian itu, begitu juga Abu Bakar dan 'Umar". Berkata, Abu Salamah: "Saat itu Abu Bakar dan 'Umar tidak berada ditengah-tengah orang saat Beliau menceritakan." (HR. Bukhari: 2156)
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "While a man was riding a cow, it turned towards him and said, 'I have not been created for this purpose (i.e. carrying), I have been created for sloughing." The Prophet (ﷺ) added, "I, Abu Bakr and ʿUmar believe in the story." The Prophet (ﷺ) went on, "A wolf caught a sheep, and when the shepherd chased it, the wolf said, 'Who will be its guard on the day of wild beasts, when there will be no shepherd for it except me?' "After narrating it, the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I, Abu Bakr and ʿUmar too believe it." Abu Salama (a sub-narrator) said, "Abu Bakr and ʿUmar were not present then." (It has been written that a wolf also spoke to one of the companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) near Medina as narrated in Fatah-al-Bari: Narrated Unais bin ʿAmr: Ahban bin Aus said, "I was amongst my sheep. Suddenly a wolf caught a sheep and I shouted at it. The wolf sat on its tail and addressed me, saying, 'Who will look after it (i.e. the sheep) when you will be busy and not able to look after it? Do you forbid me the provision which Allah has provided me?' " Ahban added, "I clapped my hands and said, 'By Allah, I have never seen anything more curious and wonderful than this!' On that the wolf said, 'There is something (more curious) and wonderful than this; that is, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) in those palm trees, inviting people to Allah (i.e. Islam).' "Unais bin ʿAmr further said, "Then Ahban went to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and informed him what happened and embraced Islam.)" palm trees or other trees and share the fruits with me." (Bukhari: 2156)
